I miss large format and the darkroom terribly. I got to do some processes like this for an antique/special processes class a few years ago. Ever since I moved back from France I’ve had a sensitivity to the chemicals for silver processes. Not all UV processes involve silver, but it’s tough to get large format film developed unless you do it yourself. Unfortunately a meager AmeriCorps stipend does not promote spending gobs of cash on film development.

Dear Stock Photographers, I hate you.
This should be a gem. This fills everything I need AND it’s not a photo of a white family (which there is an overwhelming abundance of).
Except one thing…
The jackass cropped off half of her goddamned left extremities!!
It is not a stock photographers job to crop things. That’s my job, the designer. I know where the photo will end up. I want to smack the crap outta whoever cropped this. They just ruined my damn day, I have to look at stock photos for another 2 hours to find another photo that’s any good and hope that it hasn’t been cropped by an idiot.
Soon my eyes will be numb.
